Group Course

Limitations of

the Lens

How to Maximise Your Impact Online

The way we communicate is changing. As we find that more and more client meetings and sales pitches are held virtually, this session is designed to look at how participants can maximise their impact on camera in order to build and maintain valuable relationships through effective on-screen interactions.

This session focuses on building awareness and authenticity into your online communication.  With camera presentation practice and bespoke input we show you how best to use the technical limitations of the screen to effectively engage with new or existing clients.

Key points:

-How to engage and build trust quickly and effectively with new and existing clients

-How to be more "human" in a virtual environment

-Vocal, technical and physical techniques to maximise your online presence

-Bespoke feedback on your communication style

-How to build credibility

-How to come across on screen as a unified team

-How to effectively present and sell your business through the limitations of the lens

-Increasing your ability to be dynamic on screen

This course is a structured, 90 minute package, however, following discussion with you at booking stage, will be designed with the specific needs of your group in mind.  For the experience to be fully beneficial to all attendees, we limit the maximum group size for this course to 10.

‘I’m sure many organisations, like ours, have had to rethink how they do business over the past year. In our team we spend a lot of our time focusing on the relationships and partnerships we build with stakeholders, and since last March all of that has had to happen virtually.

The ‘Limitation of the Lens’ training from In the Room was brilliant; it’s given our employees chance to pause, and think about how they best represent themselves and the organisation virtually- which is unlike anything we have done before.

Everything from how to use body language, how to light and frame your space, and most importantly, how to be your authentic self in the virtual world.

If you’re looking at ways to ensure that you are successful in presenting, pitching, relationship building in the online platform, I highly recommend this course.’
